In association with Madoo, the Bridgehampton conservancy which is also the legacy of Robert Dash, we aim here to give Bob his rightful place in the eye of the spectator. Although prone to blistering dinner-party rows, and destroying long-term friendships at the drop of a hat, Bob’s creative talent, his wonderland garden and his monumental floral canvases come together to create an oeuvre so rich and so diverse that we think he deserves a place of his own, quite outside any of the standard categories of the art world.
